Continuous Professional Development
Over seventeen years since its origin as a sole trader business, Wayman Consultancy has grown to become a respected limited company operating in the fields of Forensic Collision Investigation and Forensic Analysis of Vehicle Condition.
Wayman Consultancy’s current main activity is the provision of expert witness support services to the legal profession, but over the past fifteen years has supplied lecturers and assessors to a BTEC and City & Guilds Approved Training Centre specialising in the training of Police Officers in Roads Policing subjects. Vehicle Examination & PG 9 Prohibition Issue training evolved from that Roads Policing training, but the whole forensic vehicle examination field of training was delegated to Wayman Consultancy to devise course content and to provide lecturers and assessors.
Wayman Consultancy Ltd now believes that by itself becoming an Institute of the Motor Industry Awards accredited education & training centre, it can as a company working in conjunction with the IMI Award Scheme, offer greater relevance and superior resource, logistics, planning and administration to forensic analysis and inspection of vehicles training.
Wayman Consultancy’s proposed Inspection and Forensic Analysis of Vehicles (iFAV) programme will identify as refreshingly unique in any comparison of motor engineering training or forensic crime scene analysis training currently offered by other accredited training centres.
It is intended that the Inspection and Forensic Analysis of Vehicles Course will form the centre or hub of several motor industry related training programmes. The wheel hub or centre in due course will be surrounded by peripheral or ‘add on’ Courses, each contributing to Continual Professional Development e,g, Technical Updates and Refreshers for previous Candidates, Inspection and Forensic Analysis of road going plant and machinery.
